Anyone change their own timing belt? I should probably change mine before next season starts, but have the lack of knowledge and maybe tools to complete the job. It doesn't look too hard, but I really don't want to F it up.
As far as Mazdaspeed parts program, you can sign up for the program stating that you are building a car. If you have signed up, I ca follow up with head of the program, as I know him on a personal basis. I would actually re-apply and send in your times from the two events and will speak with Steve Sanders. For those who are going through the build process, sign up and I'll follow with him as well.

Josh has done his without any issues. Kevin has done his... ∞ . I did mine on the KL and Peaches did his on the BP so it's not too tough. I would say bring it over some weekend but I don't want to work in the freezing garage just yet. Maybe when it's warmer some weekend. If it's okay with Phen and Ivan, of course.

I should sign up and for the P5 since it's being built. I'm not sure if there are many Mazda parts left I would need but a discount of nuts/bolts helps too.

As long as it doesn't involve me putting a car back together just so someone can use the space, I'm fine with it.
I'd talk to Kevin, he's an expert... (eyeballs) LOL
fixed (lol2)
LOLZ...did you put an infinity sign there??? haha, ...well i'm an expert at the changing part...maybe not the timing part, lol
I would never do that to you Phen. It's your guys garage 1st of all. If I had to do it outside that is fine with me.
