The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

If you're going that route, you may as well look at the MPI Tuner. Extra injectors are a total b**** to get to idle properly, just a heads up.

yeah I got excited about the price I didn't read the description. I was thinking AFC

Word. I mean... that's not a bad product, but you need modifications to the intake manifold. Not unheard of since the MPI needs the same thing. Dino has a rather badass intake that he sells.

That's pretty bad ass but I think I'll stick with the 505 since I just put that on. If it's not meth why would you want that as opposed to upgrading the injectors?

I beleive this is the correct split second I would need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...akeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

Because the MPI actually runs 2 injectors per cylinder so that you don't have to buy 550+cc injectors. I'm personally not a fan of the setup, but I know Dino's car runs like a ***** ape with that setup.

That IM is actually more affordable than 550cc injectors? I haven't looked into them before, I mean I know injectors are expensive, but wow.

No, it really isn't, but if you're using the MPI as a tuning solution, you don't have much of a choice.

Got my biggest pay check yet, so I guess it's all down hill from here.. 48.5 hours regular, 6.5 hours holiday premium, and that's for two weeks... It's going to take forever to be KL tiem... :\

Hey Facebook friends, those shift knobs are ugly as sin. Just because it's free doesn't make it any good. heh-heh.

I was getting ready to paint up my Contour RSB for the 626 and noticed it has these two little lumps on it. My only ideas as to what they could be are either 1) reduce vibes, or 2) keep the bushings from going further to the sides, which seems redundant, since the brackets should hold them in place. I just want to cut them off before I paint it so that it'll be cleaner and less cluttered.

Pic installed on car (they don't seem to be doing anything, as far as I can tell)

I don't know what they do either, I noticed them on mine when I changed the bushings last year.

Well my to do list for Audrey just got longer this week. I now need to make her baby friendly...I'M GONNA BE A DADDY!!!

Hmm, I just googled "sway bar stopper" and I guess that's what it's called. It prevents the sway bar from sliding sideways while one side of the suspension is under load. When the bar itself gets loaded up, it does its job, and the car stay flatter. Here's the thread I found, for anyone who's interested.

Now I need to track down someone with a welder... Edit: I didn't read far enough to see the budget hose clamp mod. Might as well try that first!
