The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Have you met my MSM? ;)

It comes down to long term costs... The MS6 is costing me more in gas mileage because of my commute than the 3 would. I have a MSM for fun and the 3 would be more of a daily driver and car I can drive for work.

^ nice car but man does it sit really high

It's not like that anymore. He put some different stock rims that he had widened. They sit a few inches inside of the lip now. Looks awesome!

My dad's prize car was a 74 Javelin AMX...sold it when I was born in 88...
We've still got the 401 cu. engine at least! He swapped it out before he sold the car.

I still can't believe he's the 2nd owner of both and has had both since the mid 90's! haha

Can't wait for some auto cross days with him, hopefully he can get away to come to an actual track day!

I had a chance to get a orange 74 Javelin in high school, but my dad wouldn't let me get it. Hopefully I'll have some money so I can pay for gas for my baby this summer.

Ya, but I love the white with blue. Hopefully when I get a nice job I can find a decent white/blue 73 TA to go with her. Mine is a fun cruising car, but slow as balls. Nothing beats a 403 6.6 litre big block w/ 220hp. Oh wait, everything beats a 403 6.6 litre big block. At least a stock 79. Everything after 76 sucked balls from the factory power wise.

try having a 350 with 145 hp! It's everything after 73 that sucks, except some truck the Dodge's Little Red Wagon

and I just dropped a bolt down the turbo...this is going to be the longest day from hell.

That sucks. Pontiac kept the 455 until 76 and still had plenty of power. In 79 they had 4 motors (301, 350, 400, and 403) and the power ranged from 170-230hp. For some reason the pontiac 400 motor had more umph than the olds 403. Probably because it was a pontiac. Still think GM really messed up when they got rid of Pontiac. I'm not a fan of GM cars, but at least the Pontiacs had a little style to them. The rest of GM besides the Vette is just bland to me.

tried sticking a magnet dwon there but no luck any other ideas before i pull everything off?

Turn the car on and have it shoot out the other end:) JK Sorry, I would keep at it with one of those megnetic sticks, unless you want a really long day. Put everything down, go have a beer, and get back at it.
