Hmm, my excitement was a day late as I snapped wide awake at 4:47 today, the day after Christmas...

So... who wants to help me get my P5 in order so that I can let my sister use it for a while? Don't know what I was thinking when I suggested that, but it will be better for her in the long run. Plus I get a RWD winter beater in the process. Heh.

as for the death trap:
oil pan
rear brakes - as far as i saw EVERYTHING IS RUSTED, are you replacing the whole thing? maybe check the front brakes as well
change the lime-flavored jell-o from the tranny with something else?
how about a basic tune-up?

Oil pan is on it's way. I may still just steal Kevin's for the time being. We'll see what's up.
I need new lift struts for the hatch.
That's really about it to be honest. The BMW is going to need some stuff, but it'll be done at my parents house because I don't feel like driving all the way home stuck in 4th gear.

179k miles on an American vehicle.
It's been on a downward spiral for the last 3 years, if not longer. She's too stubborn to realize it and get something else so instead, she lets it cost her an arm and a leg to keep running. She bought the BMW as a supplement but it started having little issues here and there.

My super awesome girlfriend made me a shift knob booty like Chipmunks. It's got the Flying M on top, little details around the bottom and rubber shelf lining inside so it doesn't slip. Best xmas present ever.
