The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Yeah, not the Racing Harts. I'll be running the stock 03 wheels. I'll try to find a pic.

1. This is just a test run, nothing more, nothing less.
2. I like to think that I know what I'm doing, and I certainly know my limits (as well as Mikaela's) so if this encourages you to do something similar, due be careful.

leaving LMS after vibrant header install with cheapo ebay exhaust (NOT WOT)

from a stop, ground is wet and fluries falling. Just because we were laughing like a bunch of retards doesn't mean we are, and yes that's a rev limiter on first gear...

from another stop, and yes that's the rev limiter, again. Apparently some people haven't heard one before.

and finally a rolling start

Pablo! I bet your neighbors love you now! How is it on the highway? BTW, if anyone knows of a Miata for sale under 5k, my friend is looking for one.

It depends, once I get to a cruising speed it's quiet but if I get on it even a little it's just loud LOL

On another note, I just ****** up one of my wheels... :( I was following the clear trail on the road to avoid the snow and get traction and ended up hitting the curb at the entrance for work. Don't think it can be fixed, and these all season tires SUCK! I have to do some research and see what I can do, I'm broke after the header, gauges and mount...

That sucks pablo :(

and yea i always prefer snow tires to all seasons

another heads up now that you got the header installed is that you might have the same issue with your car this winter as i did last winter...

Which is?

Only reason that I have the all seasons is because I sold my winter tires to pay for Ivan's wheels, didn't know they were gonna suck so much...

What issue did you have, Levi? Man, Pablo, that really sucks. I remember doing that in my car last year, but I just bent my steel wheel a bit, still held air fine, and it's not like I could make them any uglier..

Sorry boss came in and i had to post and minimize really quick

the issue i has was that with the header the exhaust would flow too freely and in the winter it didnt allow any heat to build up in the o2 sensor so the car always read lean and when you would be on the highway cruising it would spit extra fuel into the car and it would act like it was going to stall then pick back up, when it first started doing it it would scare the s*** out of me...

So in the winter i have to throw the stock airbox and the secondary cat back in the car (my header even has a high flow cat where yours doesnt)

just giving you the heads up if you run into that issue this winter, the way to fix it is to do things to restrict some airflow
