yeah i picked mine up used for 50 bucks shipped and totally forgot at that point that id have the steering wheel controls so that was an added bonus... lol
 
yeah i lucked out and found a kid parting his car (blew up the engine and was getting rid of the car)

so i bought the rear bumper step plates (never installed on his car) and the grom for cheap... haha

theres a video of him driving like a moron (80+ on a back road, and loses the ass end in a corner and spins) so i dont doubt that him driving like a dumbass was a MAJOR contributing factor to that motor blowing
 
Hey, if someone wants to drive like a dumbass and blow engines, whatever. If they can pay to play, why not beat the s*** out of it. I prefer to not waste my money though.
 
me too... and i think it was more a case of an 17 year old kid getting a nice car from mommy and daddy and not having any appreciation for it

Got my wheels back finally....we'll see if they fit after I numnumnum a chicken sandwich.

Good News #1: Three wheels balanced nicely, two of which look absolutely flawless.

Bad News: One wheel is bent pretty bad, will need repaired this winter, I think. Also, the suby dude ran some terrible camber and the tires are just about shot. They've just gotta last the rest of this summer...

Good News #2: The bent rim and the two worst-wear wheels can go on the back, which should help make everything at least safe for the next 3 months. I got kind of lucky because of the directional tires and everything...

As I said, I haven't actually found out if the bored hub will work yet, but after school and all that stress, plus going straight to motomotion to pick up the wheels: Chicken Sandwich>OZ Ultraleggeras

Hopefully I will get them on, car washed, and find a nice spot for a quick photoshoot tonight as the sun sets!
 
Common misconception... camber doesn't kill tires as fast as you think they may. It's a bad toe problem that kills them.
 
Going to play at Nelson Ledges tomorrow. Anyone care to join? Fiji Mazda, we can work on your car this Sunday after 4:30 if that works for you. Saturday they are airing world challenge at 4:30 on Vs. Ya!
 
The park or the track? I'd come join if I was on the same continent...
 
The Track! Going to test out a new app for my Android. It is a lap timer, g meter, food processor thingy with data logging. Has good reviews, guys are saying it was actuate to a tenth with the track transponders. It was 8 bucks. If it works, it will be well worth the money.
 
Dang it. I wish I had more notice, I would've liked to at least some up and watch. I've never seen that track before. Have fun tomorrow, Sean. (At least I think that's who you are...)
 
Ya it's Sean. Kind of a last minute thing. I was sitting at work and realized I have the day off tomorrow and it's going to be awesome out. So I was like "Wonder if the is a flat out Friday going on." And there is!
