Damn what wheels/sizes are you looking at?! I can get some 17x9 Volk CE28N's for less than that!
I was thinkin the same... I could find a ton of wheels I like for under $2k... Not to mention $3k!
Heavy? What 5zigens were they? These 17x8's weigh 17lbs.
Honestly, I barely remember. It was probably 5 years ago. I remember I paid $1200 with Falken tires, new from Discount Tire. But I can't find any pics or invoices in my email... They weren't the lightweight series or anything. I had them on my red '97 Civic coupe. They were 16" and gunmetal and looked really nice. But I sold them just a few months later. Having expensive wheels on my car made me nervous when parking my car in the streets of Cleveland at gigs. I honestly have trouble sleeping if my car isn't parked in my garage because I think someone will jack my Enkeis. Haha! At my old girlfffff's apartment, I would wake up in the middle of the night look outside to make sure my car was still there a few times a night. (ughdance)
Ya, I'm sorta worried about this, as well... I live in the hood, haha. I'm movin in August, tho. So I'm just gonna find a better spot to live.
I think I decided I'm gonna get those 5zigens in flat black, tho. Just gonna let it marinade for a little while before I pull the trigger. And I might PC them down the road... Sorry Phen, lol. I'll do some research before I let some a-hole mess them up.
