The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I'm 32 and blessed with a high metabolism and a job where I life heavy boxes all day, that's how I stay fit. And I don't have the best diet but everything in moderation.

Now excuse me while I go fix a bowl of cookies and creme ice cream, suckas.

mmmm I just ate choc-peanut butter ice cr.....excuse me....frozen yogurt
liftin boxes of bulk canned food isn't a bad workout either...especially for 10 straight hours.

haha its actually his car, since he bought it 2 years ago he has only put 1200 miles on it. its an 06 with 15k miles still.
hes selling it and his highlander to go get a audi Q7 TDI if he can find a TDi that is.

Possibly on the tow plate, as long as the new owner doesn't want it.

Good luck on finding a TDI. They're rare.

I'm am 100% serious about the towplate too.

Yeah when I worked labor jobs I was in shape and was just fine. The better the job, the less labor is involved. I need to find myself a good labor job again.

I did that for 6 years back home. I never got above 145 lbs. I quit that job for my new good job, and in 9 months, BOOM, 200.

according to my wii fit i've lost 16 lbs, but that could just be moving it from a concrete floor to a carpeted one

Yea unfortantely i'm 23 and metabolism is non-exsistant, everyone in my family is pretty big. I'm skinny but thats because I have to workout 4-5 a week to keep it that way. When I take a week off of working out my 6 pack becomes a 4. Then 4 to 2. And 2 to none.

Hey Jay, now that I'm thinking about it... Did you buy that Giant new? I'm about to take it in for a tune up.

It wasn't until a couple years ago that I realized that some folks are just destined to have extra weight. I lost 20-23 lbs (depending on the scale) in a biggest loser contest at work. Did pretty well keeping it off. I didn't eat any differently, or anything. As soon as winter hit and biking went from outdoors to indoors, it was over. I couldn't do enough to keep up with the returning weight. It sucked.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I saw this post: (bolded part to highlight the point....)

But holy s***.... Really?! REALLY?! Do you have to ask this question and get a verification from other people with the same mind set?

Answer: No... It's not a good idea. Plain and simple.
Damnit, now you made me go back to that thread and look. Of course, now I have to post...

All you guys talking about weight keep reminding me I need to get out running again. Right now the only exercize I get is mowing a 0.6 acre lawn with a push mower.

My old place had a little over an acre of lawn on each side of the duplex. I had to push mow that crap a few times. It would take, on average, 6 hours to do it. Unfortunately, the few times I did that, I also went thru a 6 pack of beer too. Exercise - nullified.

Push mower?

My mower is such a POS, I've thought about getting one of those mowers. But you have to mow frequently because if the grass gets too long it's really tough.

We should get a meet together again. Something like the Mohican Fun Run again. That was the Cincy, Columbus and Cleveland cats can all kick it. Some sunday morning with grilling out at that park again. That was a really good sunday and lots of fun. Maybe late July?

What do you guys think?
