This thing sucks to work on! The passenger side rear frame rail will likely need to be replaced (if they want to do the job "right"), which means the motor needs to come out. I'm not sure how to do it without a 2 post lift though, so I may have them farm it out to the Porsche dealer to have them pull it...then I fix the damage, and they reinstall.

Wish you guys were 4 lug, I'd rock pinkies on the 2 in a heartbeat. Adapter spacers would look redonkulous at +/- 0 lol. :(

I posted this on facebook, but it is seriously bothering me tonight:

What do you do when you are at the gas station and two guys start complimenting your car and you can't reciprocate because they drive pieces of s***?

I just said, "yeah it's a fun car" about 20 times.

LOL

One guy had a red Monte Carlo with an audio system blaring ghetto music. All he cared about was my tint. The other guy sounded like an Aussie who drove a Ranger with no exhaust. He was amazed, most of all, by my seats and the fact that it was a stick shift.

ive done that before. i try to give people all the benefit of the doubt. and be like "yeah man, your civics got some serious potential!" lmao

I never know what to do either, I just say thanks. I had two guys crawling around on the ground in front of my car trying to find the intercooler one day. Freaked me out a little bit when I came out from the convenience store part

Josh, that Porsche looks like a pain to work on indeed... No thank you.

What's up, Steve!

TGIF.

+1
Hell yeah

List of plans for the weekend:
-Finish sanding the rest of the old paint off the track rims and paint them the anodized orange to match the other test rim.
-Finish sanding the fiberglass center bezel and paint to match wheels.
-Wire brush, sand, and paint upper radiator mounts.
-Reconnect the exhaust at the DP. I have to cut 2 of the broken bolts off and re-drill the holes. I have a feeling that is going to be a pain in the ass.
-Find a lower radiator rubber mount.
-Replace RR brake light.
-Bleed brakes
-Clean engine bay
-Let wheels completely dry for a couple days before mounting them to 225/50/16 Hankook Ventus Z214 :)

I would like to mount my Optima in the right rear of the trunk, but that might have to be another day. I have 3 whole days to get it all done and if it doesn't get done by then I only have the following Saturday before the first NWORSCCA event. I decided to go SM since there is nobody else in SMF pre-registared foe the first event. We'll see what happens. To bad I'm still running on a stock tune and really have no idea how the car is going to react under autoX conditions.
