Levi, did you read my post? Like I said, Phen reminded me of exactly what you just posted and I'm totally fine with people slamming their cars. But are you telling me they don't have an "elitist" attitude towards being slammed when they all say "It's a way of life, you wouldn't understand.". I just don't see the point of people bragging about breaking parts on their cars or bitching about speedbumps and pot holes because they are too low. If you're going to slam your car, then stop bitching about it being too low. It's like a cool kids club in there or something.

So don't be a hypocrite. You used to come over here to our garage and bash those cats with all of us. And now you want to be part of their club? That's cool, man. Just don't bash them one day then want to be with them the next.

This is the second time this week I've been labelled an "elitist". Because I'm tired of all the bulls*** people say. I'm going to speak my mind from now on and if that means I'm not welcome to meets, cook outs or whatever then I'm fine with that. s***, I don't go out anyway. Haha. I'll see you guys around at the track days and Mid-Ohio and say hello and go on my way with a smile, no hard feelings. It's all gravy.

Just be honest to yourself and to others. If you like one thing or another then stick to your guns. Don't change your point of view to accomedate who ever is standing next to you. I think everyone who has met me in person knows what I do and don't like. Because I speak my mind. But god forbid I say something about the slammed guys or how I don't like neon people get all mad.

And please, please, pleeeeease don't include the entire state of Ohio under my remark about the slammed RX-7. I'm an asshole and I'm okay with that. But don't bash the entire Ohio thread and it's members for something that I said. If you've got a problem with me, then let me know. Everyone is an adult here and we can all talk about things like adults. But I'm tired of all the drama and what I can/can't say anymore. Like "Team Ohio" is a bad word now. What the ****? Because I said something or did something now the whole club is a bunch of elitists or douchebags? Like I said, I don't mind being the loner, always have anyway.

But from now on I'm speaking my mind. If anyone has a problem with that, then simply tell me to get lost and I'll move on. And Levi, with all the help I've done for you on your car in the past I gotta tell ya, I can't help but feel you just hit me up when you need to wrench on your car. Phen has 1/2 of the garage and you're one of his best friends so I'm totally cool with you still coming over and using the garage because half of it is his and he's got his own tools and I borrow a lot of his. But cats that just hit me up when they need an oil change or a new part put on really kinda burnt me.

Anyway, I'll call ya this weekend and we can talk about stuff and straighten a lot of this out. Just too much drama for a bunch of car guys with the Mazda Family in their blood. I aint mad atcha.

to answer you regarding me commenting on the slammed thread, that was during the time pablo and i were planning to trade my konis and teins for his coilovers and i wanted to go as low as i could take a couple pics for some laughs then go back to a normal height

and regarding me "hitting you up for help" how many times did i offer to come help work on the swap only for you so decline the help, so do dont even make me out to be a bad guy, ive ALWAYS been a person that if you helped me work on my car, ill help you.... besides 90% of the time im at the house working on my car i do the work on my own without asking to use anything but some tools and you know that

so as some of you already now, I moved from the dark side to the pink side today... the deal was too good to pass. Here's a pic before I took delivery, Wes took a few so I'll put those up later. Ran into #2 on 480 and had a little fun, this car is just amazing to drive. Completely stock, never seen winter, and just a blast to drive (spin)

and before anyone says something, yes I already started modding it: I kept my TWM shift knob and installed the optima, more to come as I'm able

i went out to the local car/ street racing scene last night for my last night with my friends here in toledo, and to try and get evan some pics of the bad pgts. well they didnt show. and instead this happens.

i went to the meet, and head home around 1, and didnt go to where they race. i got to work today and heard that my friend mick died last night. the cops showed up to the "drag strip" and started arresting people, and mick ran, like everyone else. but he was followed by the cops, was doing very high speeds and hit a set of railroad tracks and went into a house. he was not wearing his seat belt, was flung from the car and was killed.

back in the day, i even remember lining up with this guy's 240. it was fun then, but then i grew up and found autocross. he never grew up.

im not 100% sure why im even posting this, but i just kind of feel like i need to. its just all kind of crazy. i mean i know most people in here or probably all of you do not partake in street racing, and neither do i, but its just insane how some so called innocent drag racing can turn into this.

this is why we dont **** around on the roads.

thanks larry. we werent all that close, but its just crazy how things come from nowhere and happen like they do. i really feel bad for the family of the home, and his family, and friends.
