The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I unpacked the car, took a long cool shower, ordered a large stuffed crust pizza since I haven't eaten all day, watched a movie with Tessa and my kitty then passed out at 11:30. haha. But it was an awesome weekend.

I'm good to go. And evan when I was coming home I passed tessa lol. But I unpacked last night then ate and sat down to watch a movie and passed out. Will I used the camera this morning on my way to school so I'm pumped to see how they turn out.

Very nice! Let me know if you still want to borrow my GoPro.

Anyone else heading to the new Superfly location tonight?

I went to check it out....not so good... I got there late around 5:20 and no one was there... when people did start to show up about 10 mins later, none of them went through puberty yet (one was boasting that we was 15 and his dad just bought him his car but his friend has to drive because he's not old enough, wtf?) except for a few, they were all (IMO) brats with tasteless cars!

The location was really small and was technically on private property; I felt like I was bothering the other people there...

though I did get a lot of compliments on my car, everyone was asking, "how fast is it???" ...I'm like, it's a ******* miata with 100hp...

needless to say...I will not be going back! well I won't be able since I won't be here after Labor day! eep!

so I left after about 15 mins and went for a nice drive and found a nice ice cream shop in Canal Fulton (Cherry Street Creamery) and had carrot cake ice cream! yummy!!! A big parking lot across the way, good place for a meet!!! and good to support small businesses!

Late? Dude... it doesn't really start until 7ish. When Sho and I went two weeks ago, people didn't roll in until 7-730.

it starts at 5, goes till 10... I guess I just didn't get there late enough for everyone to be there...

I think it starts at 6. We got there around 7 last night. It was really packed and I had to park in the grass lot. I saw a yellow FD RX7 that was mint, best car there IMO. I thought it was a pretty awesome spot. Got some good food and they had really cheap beers at the lodge, 2 bucks for 22oz (or more? it was huge). I was impressed with the new location. There are only a few weeks remaining this year, though.

I was reading an article on Jalopnik about the 2014 Corolla and this made me tremendously happy:

If you buy a new Corolla, you're saying to the world that you willfully passed up newer cars with more advanced design. It says that you just don't give a s***.

I hate Corollas.

It's most likely a region thing not the format. The camera has a setting for PAL and NTSC, if it's set to PAL, VLC won't do anything unless the region gets changed in the software.

Hey now. had a 94 that is still running to this day but i don't drive it (father-in-laws) & a 2001 which i own & serves as a winter mobile & we park the 6. Simple design & reliability wins with this car. Hell i even drove it to Chicago in February for the auto show & got 40.75 mpg on the way there. Would i want it as my Dr, no. But for practicality & reliability, this car wins hands down.

If you're refering to 'yota not upgrading their design & techniques & technology, i kinda agree, but why fix what works?
