I think we had this discussion before. Basically, a super car is stock. Meh. I like builds much more. Give me a modded import over an exotic any day.

edit- Jon, let's use that RX-7 as an example. 700whp, probably handles great, looks great and still has A/C for $38k. Or a super car for 3x that much for similar performance.

Just to me, if I had $100k to spend on a car (which I never will) I would rather modify an MS6 to be a beast and run with super cars on the drag or road course that cost half as much as a similar super car.

disclaimer- not trying to start any fights, as I usually do in this thread. Just saying super cars personally just don't do much for me.

For the most part I agree with Evan. But if I had the money, I would definitively get an R10, a DBS or a DB9. Hell maybe all three.

I like the character of supercars. At the same time, I appreciate normal cars modified in a way that gives supercars a run for their money. Most of us drive cars that reflect our income, so having said that I agree with peaches, given the money I'd definitely have me some supercars.

I still love my MS3 though

yea im kinda siding with Marlon, i have been watching and dreaming about this chunk of property thats been for sale for several years now... its 80 acres about 25 mins west of downtown Pittsburgh, 4 years ago it was listed around 200k, its now listed at a cool 900k... thats a pretty ******* good potential return on an investment... makes me wish i had that 200k a few years ago, haha

i always had a blast camping, get all the Mazda people in one spot of the campground... it was always alot of fun, any of you camping 2 years ago remember bear grylls grabbing the ******* lantern glass for like 15 seconds and just hearing his hand go TSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Easy question...

2013 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0, Base price, $186k. So I'd have enough extra money to pick up a few sets of track wheels/tires.

Either that or I'd pick up a new 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, but the starting price is $235k. So alas I'd have to go used to fit in your fictional budget. Plus the operating costs are incredibly high, I rode in one at a Mid-Ohio track day and was talking to the guy about. The engine gets rebuilt every year, and the transmission every 5 weekends (or a certain amount of hours I can't remember, it had the fancy racing sequential box not the street PDK obviously).

I'd love to put about $20k into my STI too. It would be pretty hard to part with at that point.

I probably won't be camping but I will be getting the Mazda corral ticket. I'm trying to convince my wife that taking her to a B&B near Mid-Ohio for the race would count as our first anniversary weekend, but I don't think it's going to fly.

I mean, if you have a car that is one of ten made, then yes, as the value of that car will only appreciate and not depreciate! the only thing close is the Veyron on my own private road course on my own island......acessible by boat or jet.....

we coulda made a moat around my 80 acres LOL and there is already a dirt track on the property next door so noise wont be an issue LOL
