The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

If anyone is interested, I have an extra ticket for the auto show tomorrow. Possibly 2 if my friend can't make it.

Lauri, and anybody else who is interested, the company has decided the open house date for Sunday April 7 so if you want to come and have a tour of the building you're welcome.

thanks, Pablo. I'm marking it on my calendar!

You guys need NEOH 24/7 business cards.

we DO!! along with MOCO cards that we can put on the windshields of Mazdas that park in general parking at the race tracks ... something along the lines of "Next time you come to the races, join us in the Mazda Owners' Corral!!"

The one Neon forum I was on and the Miata forum had business cards... It's an easy way to meet new people! Just place em on their car...

ok, just saw this on theChive... had to share even though there are a bunch of chivers already.. i laughed WAY harder than i should have

We had them when I joined the OAC back in the day. That was when I first bought the MSP and before I met you guys. It worked out well.

Nice Levi. It caught me off guard. I thought maybe you posted the wrong video at first.

So for all us newbs, what's OAC?

oac - ohio axela club if memory serves me right

basically was a big group of mazda peeps that had meets, get togethers all that (pretty much what "team ohio" does now) THEN bulls*** started happening and it became a joke atleast thats how i remember it, but i was only loosely associated with the group and such, so my recollection may not be as accurate as someone that was closer to the group

I think I hung around Steve and the group from 2007-08 then s*** happened within the group and there was a split up. Then something happened between Steve and another member on here. Other members of the group then wanted to change the name from OAC to another name, Steve and another member got into it and Steve got booted from 247. Then the OAC actually turned into MWMC. I think the last time I saw him was back in 2010, after everything, on the way back from a weekend at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix carshow. We did a couple of awesome fun runs around Pittsburgh and NE Ohio area. After all of that stuff is when I met all of you lovely people :)

I have 2 free tickets for the Cleveland auto show that are good for tonight only, let me know if you're interested in going. PM would be the best way to contact, to make sure I see it.
