The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Marlon, are you (guys) still wanting to do the Aero's game on Sunday? They have a special every Sunday; a ticket, hot dog, bag of chips, and a drink, for $12!

Unless you guys wanted to eat at Wing Warehouse first, and possibly just watch the game from up there.

I thought the price point was going to be lower than the ms3 but it's about 1k more

I just have to say, i completely hate drum brakes. Had to help the father in law rebuild the rear drums on his van. One wheel cylinder was shot, and was leaking fluid terribly.

That, and I'm still grumpy waiting on engine parts from the machine shop.

Well, I did get bumped when I had to wait almost a month to track down and order pistons. In that time, he got busy as hell.

Not to mention, hunting season is approaching quickly (early goose is second week of September) and work has hit the end of summer crunch.

That isn't a bad price at all for that year and the shell and underbody looks to bein pretty good shape.

I probably wouldn't offer more than $4000 for it, just because like you said, you're basically just buying a shell. The story IS amazing though!

I actually bought a 6X12 enclosed trailer off this guy about 6 years ago. I know him from my Colorado forums.

Josh, sounds good to me, I will get Lauri to start a thread.

If I had the money I would try to scoop it up, it's 100x in better shape than mine
The looks make it worth the extra $$. :)

What car are we talking about here? The Focus ST?
it does look better, but also has less HP, yeah talking about the Focus ST
Nate, you should totally make that thing look like Bumblebee!

I thought it was only going to be 240hp, isn't the ms3 263hp? and to get the recaro interior it's like another 4k

The US version is 252. I think the Euro one is 240. The car that's coming in has the Recaros. Actually, Recaros are $2300 now that I think about it.

Why wouldn't there be a ton of torque steer?

The Recaro interior is kind of sweet.

Ford's using a system called Torque Steer Compensation. Essentially, when the car recognizes torque steer, the steering system will compensate for it by adjusting steering input to overcome the pull from the steering wheel. In reading a lot of reviews, it seems to work pretty well.

Nick, no offense or anything since you sell new cars, but man I hate new cars. Let's add some more computers!

I'm going to stick with a throttle cable and shift linkage until I'm dead. I'll be 80 years old still driving my P5. haha.
