The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Why are you selling your AWR oil pan and mount?

And I stand corrected, Josh, Steph and Sophia can't make it tonight. But I'm still freaking going! I need candy!

Mine doesn't have the oil return bung where as the one I picked up from Nate does and the AWR front was replaced by a SU mount when they sold me the wrong one (when I wanted the rear). It is in good shae still, but could use a little paint on the base metal.

It's alive! It's alive!!! It's all over the place (Needs an alignment really really bad.

SO, how about that Sahlen's news??

I'm bummed to see them changing like that, but at the same time... I think it will be good for the team in the long run. Going from a class that has 40 other competitors to a class with 9 other competitors could be good for them. Plus now... I'll have someone to really root for.

It sucks to see them leave Mazda but I'm happy for the team overall. I really hope that they do well. Does this mean that we won't be doing Sahlen's night annually anymore? :(

Hopefully they can be competitive in the new, smaller class, instead of always juuuuuuust missing out on success in GT. hahaha

And we all just got their "Mazda 42" shirts too...:( (lol2)

I just watched part one of the interview. DP cars don't really do much for me since I like the street cars more. And it was great to support a local Mazda team. I'm a little bummed but wish the guys well, of course.

Yea, it was cool to have a local Mazda team, but they're still a local team nonetheless!

Are they racing the whole year? I thought I saw something about running the 6hr Glen race?

Anyone think they could help me install my auto tech internals? My pump is already off. Just waiting to get them in.

somehow corey didnt pop his motor at autocross today.... so that means whoever is coming the 26th will get to see it in person :)

iSeth, are you talking fuel pump internals or motor internals?

AJ, that motor is a freaking beast! haha

I just saved a bunch of money by switching my window replacement plan to Josh Santiago! Thanks again!

Did the 50 mile bike ride for Pelotonia Saturday morning. I finished in 4 hours with 3 stops along the way for Gatorade and snacks. It was a little emotional, especially at the start. There was an older lady that was a cancer patient with a sign that read: "Thank you, YOU are my Hero". People were out along the route cheering and thanking us and had signs of appreciation, encouragement and remembrance of loved ones lost to cancer. A big THANK YOU to all of you that donated and supported me. If you would still like to donate you can do so by following the link in my sig. At the finish line I was greeted by this:

Glad I could be apart of such a great event and I look forward to doing it again next year as well.

lol, not cool.

Hell yeah it is. If feels like it has a little less pull, but I'm not going to complain as long as she is running :)
I took it really slow the first 4 runs and didn't push for boost until the 4th run. Overall she ran great and with the AWR coilover the car acts like a go kart. I'm going to have to back the rear bar down a little bit though. The thing rotates like now other.

Good job, Nate! Did Josh tell you the story of how difficult it was for him to remove that glass at Pull-a-Part?

yes he did, good thing he knew what he was doing and had all those tools at his disposal.

Some more glass peices fell out of the motor and other parts of the door so when I go to clean those out I think I'll add some sound deadner to the backside of the door panels.
