The Ohio Auto-X and Track Event chat thread

Yeah... It might just be a light year as far as the amount of autocrossing that gets done by me.

I have ran with the MOSCC before they are a VERY layed back club, there courses are gimiky. and they used only one timing light for the start and finish so there is only one car on course at a time.

Haha that's a good way of describing them.

Because they are having fun and that's what its supposed to be about IMO. not everyone needs to run on a nationals style course.

Yeah I wouldn't call them a joke, when I ran with them it was still a fun course. It was actually a good learning experience because the way the course doubles back on itself (at least when I ran with them) made the course really tricky to remember and execute.

It's a good group of people and running with them is cheap. I wouldn't write them off, just because they don't have huge courses or turnouts.

Ok. When I read laid back and gimiky, in my mind I thought that meant they were a joke. i will try getting up there and check it out.

I'll be at the OVR SCCA autocross Saturday and Sunday at Ohio State this weekend if anyone else is going. :)

Yep, 6am but at least this time I won't just be sitting on the side watching the Boxters putt around the course. haha

Link for info/registration, Peaches?

Are you guys talking about the NE Ohio SCCA one? Their website claims that they have online registration at motorsportreg.com, but I can assure you that it isn't there as of 2 minutes ago. http://neohio-scca.org/solo/solo-events/

I'll be at the NWOR SCCA event on the 9th @ the Chrysler plant if that is any concelation :)

Did you pre-register last time or just show up again? How much is it?

Just showed up, since we're not members then we don't get a discount, unless we can use the NASA membership with NEO SCCA? Paid $30 on Sunday, so it should be that or $40
