Looks good. I've considering painting my roof black (flat though) for a while now, partly because my roof is now a faded flat yellow. Also, I think you should paint the lower piece at the back (over the muffler) black to tie the rear bumper into the scheme.

Hey Treflip, You should paint your side skirts, rear valence, and rear latch cover black to continue your look and to match your front lip

Don't do the latch cover, I did, and I regret it. It makes for a distracting/unclean line. It's going back to yellow soon.

That is a crappy photobucket edit I did but you get the picture. I saw a p5 on ebay painted like that and thought it was a cool idea and would look cool with your paint theme.

What have all you yellos P5's been up to? Been kind of quiet around here lately. I just got done repainting my rear bumper and rear valence cover my self. This isn't that great of a pic and the rest of the car is really dirty and faded compaired to the new paint but you get the idea. Next time I do any painting it will be the whole rest of the car so this is only temporary:

where did you buy the paint and how bad is the difference . I was out looking at my car yesterday and the wing above the rear window looks like crap with the clearcoat flaking ovv everwhere and my rear bumper seems to be the only piece on my car with serious fade and I would love to be able to repaint it if it doesent look to different from the rest of the car afterwards.

Your paint faiding all depends on where you live and how you treat your cars paint. As far as the paint I got it at a local auto paint store called KC Autopaint. Just give them your color code found in your door jamb and they mix it for ya. A pint of dual stage paint(which is what I used, which is clear coat and paint all in one) will cost you about $60. Plus the cost of hardener, and other supplies you will need.

Great job FightClubTheory. Looks great. It would look even better if you debadged the rear and painted your latch cover black as well.

I am in the process of installing 6.5 component speakers (just want to put them in, have volume low until amp is installed), later on I will do the pre-output to the stock hu, amp for component speakers and amp for subs, hid 6000k, window tint and hopefully find mazda3rims or rx8 rims and just ride.

I don't have pictures yet, but I recently got AWR Mounts (Front and Side Inserts), Thunder 4-1 Header, Tein S-Tech springs and Tokico blue struts.

I have been working on parting out my car and getting it ready to sell so no more updates for me. (sad2) I am getting rid of car payments and using partout money to buy an Impreza, makin the Mazda to Subaru switch. Probably going to get an older Impreza wagon and doing a 2.5 liter STI engine and tranny swap with an RS OEM body kit. Can't wait! AWD, light weight, and turbo power!
On another note sweet mod purchases FightClubTheory. Do you have bigger rear sway bar and front/rear strut tower bar yet? Once you have those your suspension will be set having the good lowering springs and struts.
