The Official Yellow P5 Thread

So my cars in the shop for new paint w00t! and some minor body work thats been bugging me forever, Goodbye faded everything...This is whats getting done

- New 3 stage coat of HZ yellow
- Spolier, roof, hood "V" and DG grille painted gloss black
- De-badged hatch before paint
- Installing DG lip and Grille for me before paint
- All dings and dents fixed
- Low gloss black paint on all outside window trim
- shaved door mouldings
- painting my calipers at no extra charge (the right way )
- Touching up my rims

Turn around is about 11 days he said, all depends...Bring on the new car/ paint paranoia...

that freakin' sucks big time... dangerous material... hmm... oh yes i do, love the red, white, and blue! lol, i would love to visit australia though... i love kangaroos! i wonder why it's labled a "dangerous" material though. and a hood is called a "bonnet" over there? awesome...

It's a Dangerous material Because in the case of a accident the CF is Going to Shatter, where as the metal will just bend.
LOL To the Kangaroo's, yea you dont find them that often, Only in the Zoo's and out west, where no one lives which probably means it will be on the front of the car, cause they Come out of no where when your driving and Ruin your car. But the Emu's are the Ones you have to be scared of, they are Scary things been chased a few times by them.
Yea We Mainly call the Hood a Bonnet, One or the Other we Know what we are talking about..lol

yeah, we have emus here too... but not wild... i probably have a wild misconception of australia, due to the late Steve Irwin (whom I LOVE!)... i really would love to visit though...

Yah I know. Those are spendy little buggers. I used to have quite a few DG interior parts but had to sell them (sad2). I really miss them.

Ok guys, sorry I havent been around much, with the count down down to 5 days, its so weird its finally time to go BUT...The shop sent me some teaser pics and i was going to wait until everything was done but i cant stand it anymore so here ya go...They are far from finished so keep that in mind, there is still TONS to do and its dirty as hell right now, they are going to do my suspension too when the time comes, they are good people, tommrow it goes to stereo to replace all stock speakers and 2 kicker comp 12's in the trunk then saturday they are removing the tint and putting new tint on and yadda yadda yadda Be easy guys and the next time you hear from me ill be in the united states...W00000t!!!
