2003 P5
Hello all.
I have recently become a true believer in Japanese built Japanese cars... I just bought my very first Japanese car (2003 RED MP5) (had a Jetta before, and a Saab turbo before that) I could not be more pleased. The Engineering is sensible, the Build Quality is good and the Performance is excellent... anywho... Any one know anything about Cross-Drilled Rotors for the P5? I think they would look awesome... ramble ramble ramble...
Tchuss.

Welcome forom a fellow left coaster. There are many suppliers of brake rotors, search around, I don't know the best ones for the P5, but Ion had a complete kit with pads and fluid too.

Hey, welcome Ballard! I like Ballard. The Majestic Bay theater is cool. Not to mention all the Scandinavian brothers walking around. I feel like I'm in the mother land.

From one Protie owner to another...welcome! Be sure to check out the thread on the October 25 meet....and to everyone else, make sure to post if you're going or not!!!!!

Japanese built Japanese cars are way better than others. I had a 2001 Civic EX that was built in Ohio. Pain in the ass car stayed in the shop. Had two tranny's replaced, and Honda bought the car back when it went back for the third, never again.

So... I'm another newbie... that show on the 25th, can anyone go? I basically want to see what the locals have done with their cars, and maybe get some ideas. Well, good posting and zoomin'.

ninjabassgurl, yes, everyone can go. it's just a get-together for us Proteges. We're doing this with some people over at the Celica.net forum, so it should be fun. I used to drive a Celica, so that's how I knew about their meet, and we're gonna join up, make it look big. Well, almost anything will be bigger than the last meet.....3 Proteges.

We'd better have twice that many Proteges show up on the 25th.

Hi, I have Eurorotor cross drilled rotors on my front and rear along with wagner thermo quiet pads....I have to tell you I AM VERY IMPRESSED with them. my stopping distance is fantastic at high speeds and there is no brake dust. Also, the rotors look great. I suggest the Eurorotor.

Man Ballard, you gotta watch out.....someone might smack ya for calling the Washington board an obscure one..... j/k

Oh, Ballard, what's that over there...... *points behind ya* *smack!* *j/k* *lol*

So Ballard, are you gonna make it on the 25th? Please post in the actual meet thread and let me know. :) Same to you, ninjabassgurl...let me know what's up. We gotta show up to these celcia guys...take over their meet. and it's gonna be cool to have more Proteges than Celicas......even though i'll be bringing one of each.
