good luck man, hope you have OT hours at the job cause doing somethign solo aint gonna be cheap unless u get lucky. hit up ken at pg, me and him had a lil chat last night, he might have some ideas about this whole throttle thing if your willing to try them.
what are you using to monitor knock.?
Also, chris, send me a pm with as much info as possible
im not giving up just yet. Im going to exhaust all of my option before i make any "big" decisions.
I dont see why a ms6 with a stock fuel pump, 3076r, meth can be tuned to 330whp or so and my car cant. Has to be someone who knows how to tune this thing around here.
I don't want to sound like a dick either, but where's the news here? Fuel cut is a major issue that hasn't been resolved. CP-E's standback can't tune it out. PG's CDFP doesn't solve it either.
Just because you have a fully built block, etc. etc. doesn't mean that fuel cut is going to magically disappear.
I truly wish you luck as you've invested alot of time and money and I'm sure something will happen someday, but I truly hope that going into this you didn't expect the fuel cut issue to be resolved by just adding parts together.
Again, good luck and it'll happen someday - patience.
Get a standalone!
It's actually a 3071R
The pump seems to work for Laloosh. I think chris' problems lie within the actual tune...
They don't exist!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!
Laloosh isn't tuned though right?
I've been looking into these, suggested by Ghettospeed on the other forum...

"You can get rid of the MAF sensor altogether and it will feed the proper MAF signal to the ecu via a GM 3 or 5 bar MAP.
It can also be used with a WB02 sensor to allow you to hit AFR targets.
I have seen some absolutely SERIOUS hp made with these things on other cars and its cheap and very easy.
I am honestly considering just sticking the stock ecu into open loop mode and running one of these things.. After messing with one and looking at the specs I have to say they are very nice and simple.
One of these can do quite a bit, almost everything that the standbacks can do except for spill valve control.
Whats cool about this thing is that you can switch the stock 02 sensor back in and switch the MAF translator to a stock maf response and the ecu will never know any better.
Not to mention you get boost control.
Unfortunately, I can't even consider such a big project until I get ahold of a Dashhawk or maybe a 16 channel oscope with datalogging so I can monitor all the inputs and outputs of the stock ecu so I have some curves to work with to determine whats going on with the stock ecu.
I know everyone will say "oh, the voltages are displayed via CAN or OBD2". Well, frankly, I don't trust it. Sorry thats just me. Oscopes don't lie, however processors can be programmed to lie so people don't mess around with the ecu. (Another terrible trick BMW plays to screw up tuners btw)" -Ghettospeed
You obviously didn't talk to Motec. They do exist, but they aren't cheap. There are other standalones out there with similar capabilities to Motec's for alot less money, but they aren't cheap either.
When he was tuned he got fuel cut. Once he zeroed everything out he was chillin.
BTW, told you guys the standback wouldn't cut it, lol.
I'm pretty sure it's his tuner. If we can do it with a smaller turbo and stock engine/fuel system why all of a sudden doesn't it work?
