The MS6 Build-a-Beast is coming very soon...(Pics)

No such thing as a 500whp mazda speed6. Sorry, But thats like me telling you I ran a 12.1@120mph. No one would believe me until there was proof and me getting all my comrades together and having them say its true isnt proof.
Show me some proof. Nothing personal but this is the freakn internet and anyone can say whatever they want without consequence. For all you guys no Im not even posting real numbers and this avatar isnt even my car. See what I mean? 500WHP SPEED6 = EL CHUPACABRA

lol you guys crack me up.

i would love to see this 500 whp vehicle personally..

so there was a 6 with a custom 35rs turbo (which means custom manifold), custom exhaust, custom FMIC, Custom intake, custom standalone, either an injector plate or custom intake manifold, and then it was crushed correct?

and why doesn't MOTEC offer this standalone now? You would think with all that work that was done to the car that they would offer atleast one part they developed for it to the public...

They used thier normal motec standalone, not a custom one. Have you seen how much s*** that thing can do? The maps deffinately have the resolution for it. IDK about it getting crushed because I only inquired about it once almost a year ago. As for marketing it for di cars, how could they morally tell people it works, charge them that insane price, and then tell them they have to add secondary fuel injection and everything that goes along with that, and then they have to make thier own maps from scratch. Even if they made a kit that takes care of it all, it'd be over $15,000 w/o the rest of the power mods, and the tune wouldn't be close to anybodies particular set up. Now that there are upgraded fuel pumps confirmed to work, that "could" be a different story.

Want proof, call motec yourself. I don't know them, or even where they're located for that matter. I got the number off thier website just like anyone else can.

though this is off topic, i can attest to the pumped up speed. i've been trying to get one of the guys that did the fab on it to work on my tranny/engine mount setup this week, but holidays are a b****. the kit was a "no numbers" car, like that used in many SEMA vehicles, that has a 12 month shelf like pretty much....car must be crushed with proof. it belonged to one of the Mazdaspeed VP's. DI is going to be one of the next big things in racing, so the experience Motec got was a learning time for them....not building a product.

i was talking to the Mazda guys at Laguna Seca a few weeks ago, they really liked the platform when they saw what it was capable of.

but, i really don't see (as stated) anyone dropping the cost of a Motec on a street car, so why market it....they just used it to learn from. though i'm sure they still have all the info.

Hell, they were willing install one in my car and get it running as is if I was willing to drop the bucks on the unit and let them have the car for about a month. I'm kicking myself in the ass for not taking the offer, but that's ALOT of grip that I didn't have.

UPDATE:

my speed 6 went back to ICS this morning for oil change, coolant flush, boost controller install, and wiring the cp-e ems. As soon as they finish, it will be in the dyno room for tuning. Once again, lets keep our fingers crossed.

UPDATE:

EMS is installed! Boost controller installed! Fluids changed! Tuning will go either tonight or tommorow!

Tuning will be done by Al Freidman, the founder of Dynoflash:

Dynoflash is based out of Stamford, CT, and we are the number 1 re-flashing tuner in the country for the Evolution 8.

400whp would be nice especially with the added reliability of that "built" engine, but 500whp you be rrrrreeeeeeelllly nice too

I doubt ill make 500whp without meth and full boost on this turbo. 380-440whp is a more realistic range of what I should make granted everything works out.

looks like its gonna be done tommorow. they were going to do it after they finished tuning an evo but they ran into some problems with the evo.
