umm i dont know. my girl hates it when i buy things for my car and spend time tinkering with it but that just makes me buy more things cuz i think it is funny when she gets mad about stupid s*** like that. But on the otherhand she likes my car so... idk depends on the girl.

If she hates your car, and makes fun of it regularly either to you or your/her friends... YES.

If she just does not like it and you know this fact, and that is it.... work around it. I just found stuff of my girlfriends to hate, and let her know as well. Then it got dropped and I asked her to marry me. Been married 5 happy months.

A week after we first met, we were swimming at a friends house for the afternoon. At this point she did not know what kind of car that I drove. My p5 was parked next to my roommates MSP. We were walking to her car and i asked her if she liked it(an '02 Alero). She said that she didn't really like it much, but it was either an alero or a Protege(said in disgust).

I then looked at my roommate, and looked behind us at both of our cars parked 5 feet away, and she just replied "oh, sorry".
