well you might be thinking, "this guy is nuts its 3 am he doesnt know what hes saying" and the truth is that, that might true (humpleg)

Ok well i know this is might be unrealistic but ill give it a shot.

How bout we set up a meet like once a month or when ever, that helps each other mod or fix some stuff.. eh ehh ehh get the drift?!? (smash)

Ok havent you ever bought something and you dont know how the hell to install it and dont want to risk breaking your car, its just way to complicated, or you dont have enough tools/knowledge to do it. So you are forced to pay alot of labor charges that can rack up almost as much as the mod was which = $$$$. Poop right?!?! Well unless you have a friend that REALLY REALLY REALLY knows his car then friends that dont own a ms3/mz3 wont do jack and could cause you to just bicker (stfu)
So the idea i have thought of is to get together and help each other install/fixed w/e it is to be installed/fixed...... intakes, motor mounts, hids, exterior, interior, engine performance parts, etc etc etc so we can all save money and have a fun time!(wiggle) Oh and you dont have to be modding anything to join cuz we could also do a "check for leaks (boost, oil, anything)" or "Change you oil" (cabpatch)
Food, drinks, entertainment could be provided to help us stay happy and healthy :wiggle: Its also a great way to socialize with other mazda owners in your local community!! (kiss)

Lets make one thing clear... NO i am not throwing this idea in soo that i dont have to pay the professionals to do this!! (screwy).................... ok maybe i am :ally: but wouldnt you think that this would be a good idea to not only socialize and get to know other mazda owners but a great way to save $$$ and frustration from paying people or doing it yourself! and besides you will be with people that have a car just like yours and have experience so they know what they are doing!!(kissass)

Key map: This is for Houston and surrounding cities And for any mazda owners thats interested... ms3/mz3//ms6/mz6/MSP/protege/rx8/mx5 etc

sounds like we could put something together. anyone else down? if you let me know what you are going to install before you come over, i can go and get just about any tool that you could possibly need from my dad. i have the basics here to do a whole lot of work, but it would be nice to go and get some air tools if we need them or a spring compressor if someone is doing a drop.

we could even buy oil by the case so that it would be cheaper. i use synthetic on my pro5 and conventional in my rotary, so it gets pretty expensive for me. let's try to put something together. we also need to cruise together soon.

let's get something together then. i need to flush the radiator and do an oil change on my rx7. are sundays good for everyone? how about July 13th? let me know what you think.

sounds like a good idea, i was thinking of buying the SU boost tubes and heard the cold side is a beotch to install.... but sundays are a no-go for me, i work on sundays.... :( saturday the 12th would be cool cause that night is that "street race" night at the track in sealy. any mod installed that day could possibly help that night.... eh?

any mods will help (ughdance)

Mod days are usually pretty fun.....too bad im a lazy bastard. Just like alot of these old skool cats, i dont even wanna install the shiet i have lying around.

If you come out to one of our club meetings you'll find quite a few people who would love to set something up. Our meeting is tomorrow night, expecting about 25-30 people. 3s/6s/7s/and 8s. It's been a while since we've had a Protege though, maybe about 6 months.

it isnt just a rx meeting??

cuz last time i brought my friend to a certain car meet... and well lets just say he was the only rx8 there with a whole bunch of mazda 3 and speed 3's

the 12th is no good. i have to go to a birthday in Spring/Cypress, so i will be nowhere near home. this weekend is July 4th weekend, which is no good for a lot of people i am sure. i don't know what we could do, other than change it to the weekend following. what do you guys think?

Not sure what meeting that was.. but the monthly club meetings area always full of 7s and 8s with several 3s or 6s thrown in the mix.

Check out some of our past events at www.houstonrx7club.com/events here are a couple of samples... avg meetings are about 20-30 people.

I thought I posted that the Miata's are going to do the Shiner run again on the 12th.

This will be a different run WITH local Miata's not trying to meet up with another Miata group from somewhere else.
