The hot 6 is coming!

Where's boostisgood with his "No more Mazdaspeeds will ever be made" BS now!!! That car is gonna be hella sweet.

Haha, I just posted that link in "Mazdspeed6 sighting " thread. No one can doubt it anymore, the Mazdaspeed6 is officially on it's way!!!! (thumb) (headbang)

didn't look lile a "Mazdaspeed" 6 to me but either way...if it comes it would be the s***....

damn, tahts hott :D

now I dont know why they say "Mazda is prepping its own entry for the Subie-Mitsu rally wars" because th2 2.3 is illegal for WRC and I highly doubt that MAzda is getting into that. I guess they mean it more on a production car level to compete with the STi and EVO, although the 6 is considerably bigger than those two, isnt it?

And with that Japanese rated 276hp you can be sure its really more ;)

Autoweek's commentary is just shooting from their mouths. Expect the N. American Mazdaspeed6 (if they call it that) to have specs similar to the MPS6 concept introduced at Paris in '02 (which is 2.3l turbo, 280hp).

From the pics, what's interesting to me is that it seems like Mazda has split their Mazdaspeed6 program. While Europe's Mazdaspeed6 will be the hatch bodystyle (MPS concept), N. America's gets a sedan. It also appears that the N. American Mazdaspeed6 will be assembled at Flat Rock.

well, time to sell all the mods and get the P5 ready for trade-in (evil)
And I better see you at the next meet with it(thumb)

I hope this will finally get rid of all of the "MSP was a total flop and because of it Mazda is never gonna sell another MazdaSpeed edition in N. America after the MSM" bulls***. It appears to me that the MazdaSpeed program is alive and well (refering to North America in this case). Hopefully, this will pave the way for a MazdaSpeed 3.

It will suck if Europe gets the hatch and we only get the sedan though.

I've already decided. If they make a Mazdaspeed3, with > 225HP and AWD, I am trading in my MSP for sure.

If they make a Mazdaspeed6, with > 260HP and AWD, I will probably trade in my MSP.

hump hump hump. Boy, that just sounds like FUN.

i love the car, but not sure if i would buy it. i drove seanmcsean's 6 hatch, and my friends 3 and i didnt like the feel of the steering. too light. as soon as i got back in my pro i really apprectiated the steering again.

if they made the steering feel alittle heavier, and don't put one of those stupid variable steering things like on the new 5 on, then i would propbably get one over a Legacy 2.5GT.

According to my sources they will build a sedan and a hatchback. Pricing will stay under $40k CDN, not sure about U.S. pricing.
