The final word on mounts?

Well, I had my dealer contact Mazda Canada regarding the P5 and MSP motor mounts, and they are "Exactly the same", same part # and everything. I had a friend with the MSP ask his dealer, and he got the same response. The blue vs. the white dot is only a reference mark for batches...

Perhaps the difference is because the mounts in your cars were bad?

Any comments? Any different part #'s?

supposedly the MSP ones were slightly harder rubber.

a lot of people on the forums blow steam just to get their name on the map.. weither they know or not...

as soon as bryan gets his car back ill take a good look at the mounts compared to mine...


ive done a lot of work with plastics and rubber molds .. i used to work with a plastic automotive engineering company...

if you look at the ejection points and the sorts you can tell if they are the same or slightly different...
