It took 7,700 miles for mine engine to fall out. Are you at that mileage yet? Have you really pushed the car?WTF MATE said:Wow I don't know why so many people on here are having so much trouble with there MS3s. I must have got one of the good ones because my mounts are fine, there's no check engine lights, the car is perfect. But that really sucks that the bolt wasn't tight.

I'm at 13,000 miles, I've had the car since November and drove it all over the eastern united states without any problems. Pushing the car, I think I've pushed the car more than anyone, I'm the one who posted the vid of toping my car at 155 also raced and tracked it numerous times. Maybe people shouldn't be droping the clutch at ridiculous rpms like I here that their doing.nondual said:It took 7,700 miles for mine engine to fall out. Are you at that mileage yet? What's ridiculous revs? I almost never 'drop' the clutch, but I've chirped the wheels in second by shifting at high revs.WTF MATE said:I'm at 13,000 miles, I've had the car since November and drove it all over the eastern united states without any problems. Terrific I wasn't specifying you, and I've chirped the tires going into third. I don't care, I just think that bolts being lose is crazy.nondual said:What's ridiculous revs? I almost never 'drop' the clutch, but I've chirped the wheels in second by shifting at high revs.

Well I agree that if they are getting enough complaints about the same problem they should post a recall on it, you figure it would be cheaper that way until it causes something else to happen. I've been checking my account on the Mazda Website but they haven't posted any recalls yet so we'll see I guess.desperado-c said:It is crazy and that's why Mazda needs to step up and make the necessary fixes BEFORE this happens to more people. I'm gonna start pestering my dealer tomorrow. I don't want to have MY engine drop out before they take action.
Other than that, I have no complaints!

post #77 FTW -- just change "rembering" -> "remembering" - dang.. i been proofreading 2 much today.
Mine started 'clunking' when I was shifting too. I'd have it looked at.voiceKoil said:Thats just crazy, I think having everyone thats had a problem to post their build dates is a good idea, that way if there is a connection then the rest of us in that time frame can have more of a heads up. WTF MATE sayes hes got 13k on his with no problems so I dont think mileage is an issue? I picked mine up on 10/19 so its basically the first of the batch, I only have 3350 miles on mine though so maybe I just havent found out. Ive definately pushed the car, and its seen 140mph, so I dont know what else to say. I plan on checking the bolts out pronto!!! I do have a clunking noise when I shift and I asked my dealer about that, they said its normal, but I was the only MS3 they had seen so it might of been just an Impulse reassurance, does anyone else hear that noise? I read it on here but I cant remember if it was bad or "normal".

Have I mentioned how amazingly good Alhambra has been to me? They're replacing the entire engine, transmission, clutch assembly, and radiator.
I'll try to see the broken part if I can and maybe even take a pic if it's possible.
