The E-Blue Project

I will start to look for an adapters and connectors, as I won't cut the factory harness.
Time to head down to the Mazda service department.

you wont find just the ECU connectors and buying just an ECU for the connectors is a waste or money, CP-E from what i read has had a hell of a time just getting some vendor to reproduce the sockets for their PnP standback. to the best of my knowledge a piggyback only taps into a wire, you dont cut them. in my case only wire i had to cut was the MAF signal wire so the piggyback could manipulate the signal. all the rest of wires, i took a razor blade and split the top of all the wires unitl actual wire was showing and soldered from there.

I got my E-01 in today so i moved my emanage from the driver side kick panel to the glovebox and went thru the main harness gromet in the firewall, so tomorrow i have to re-solder some wires, mount my e-01 and pics should be up by mid day, im trying to get all this done b4 it gets ungodly hot outside. I would recommend anyone if they wanted to embark on the emanage project not to buy the e01 because then your over the price of the CPE standback. But the plus is, instead of having a boost gauge, A/F gauge or any other gauge everything is all in one screen with a remote control to tune with instead of a laptop. But so far, this is my grocery list:

greddy emanage 105$ off ebay
Greddy Profec E-01 268$ off ebay (by luck)
new main harness + injector harness from mohd parts 60$
19$ for double sided tape, 100ft 16G wire spool, electrical tape

So 452 total + some patience for someone trying to be different.

The average person would be spending about 300-350 total on this project.

Good work. I too have had good experiences with the E-Manage in the past on FWD Nissan's and can tell everyone that its not hard to setup @ all and has many beneficial features (and some tricks that it can do too).

All those things aside, the best feature would be the ability to control the engine timing. That's very essential when it comes to engine tuning, even more so than the fuel tables. If all you want to do is fuel, you could have gone with a Super AFC.

Anyway, good luck and keep us updated.

Ive been done. no one showed any real interest or asked any questions so i said screw it. its going to take me a while to get tuned, lack of money at the moment.

need info

i see that you have installed a emanage on your mazda can you tell me what you set the a.a.v settings at on the front of your emanage. i had mine repaired and it came back all zero on it and i did not save it anywhere

I was waiting to see a how to and what your gains were. Please keep us posted as there seems to be an interest.
