The Best Christmas Ever!

I thought today was going to suck. I had to come to work the day after Christmas and could not stay home watching the new 32" flat pannel LCD HD TV that my woooonnnndddderrrfullll (kiss) hubby bought for me. (cry baby, I know; suck it up and deal with it). Until 10:33 am EST when the dealer called me to let me know that my MS3 was sitting on the truck that was sitting in the parking lot of Brown's Mazda in Fairfax, VA!!! The car had not even hit the macadam yet. Needless to say, I have gotten NOTHING done at work today. I'll be leaving in about 20 min to go home, get the hubby and go get the car. Christmas was good to me, but man, it is soooo much better now.

I'm new to the forum. Anyone else in the NoVA area?

Congratulations!!! What a great gift, what color/package is it?

And for local happenings, check out the MEC Forum. We're getting together for brunch in Fairfax this Sunday, if you'd like to join us. Check out the "We're hereeeee!!!" thread.

Congrats on the MS3! I got a 60gb PS3 with Need For Speed Carbon which has the MS3 as one of the cars in the game that I will be playing in 1080i on the 42" LG plasma so NA NA NA NA BOO BOO! (That is as close to an MS3 as I will get for a while ... hehe). I know you are new to the forum and I already don't like you... (j/k of course!).

Well, 2 can play at that game. The 32" flat pannel LCD TV was just for the bedroom. The 52" is in the living room (hah). jk

(werd) I have a 52 in my living room :D

oh, and welcome :)

Thanks! It's black mica with the Sport package (didn't want the leather seats, it makes it hard to keep the fat a** in the seat when taking the turns at Summit flat out). I may take you up for brunch, it would be very cool seeing a bunch of them all together. Maybe we'll see you there!

Congrats on your MS3 and also your TV...I guess. I have to continue to suffer without the car until mid February. I do agree...work on the day after X-Mas does suck! I'd much rather be at home watching the 30" Sony CRT (tube for those of you who can't recall), or maybe even nestling to the 13" CRT in the laundry/work out room.

That's awesome. I'm really happy for ya. ^_^
My MS3 is due in about two weeks (also from the Fairfax Mazda).
It's funny that you mentioned a TV 'cause I bought a 56" DLP on black Friday.
The movies (playing at 480i) didn't look so great, so today I bought an HDMI DVD player w/ upconversion.

I'm not sure why I bought one (the TV) since I never watch it anyway.
I can't wait to get my MS3! @_@

Congrats on your new car. I am also new to the NoVa area (sort of - I've had several temporary stints here, but am here permanently, now). I might just have the best holiday whine:

I drove to VA from OH on Christmas day, because I had to report to my new job at 8:00am Tuesday. I got here at about 6:00pm, and everything was closed, so I bought Ramen noodles and a coke for Christmas dinner. The worst part is I was partying in Bangkok Wednesday night. The only good part is I picked up the new 3 on Friday.

101 inch in my living room. But I'm compensating. :P Congrats on the ride and the new LCD. Gotta love that clarity.

Hate is bad... dislike maybe? (glare) Envy even? :)

Michael Dingman: Boy that flan was good. I wish we had flan.
Tim Dingman: [grimaces, gets up from the bed, pats Michael's arm and whispers to acknowledge Michael] OK.
Michael Dingman: Dad?
Tim Dingman: Yeah?
Michael Dingman: How come we're getting the little itty-bitty pool?
Tim Dingman: Mikey, It's not a little itty-bitty. The square one is the little itty-bitty. We're getting the bean shaped model. Right?
Michael Dingman: A little itty-bitty bean.
Tim Dingman: It's not a little itty-bitty bean. It's an averaged sized bean, Mikey. And I've got news for you, my friend. There are kids in parts of the world who would walk 50 miles through quicksand just so they could stick a toe in your swimming pool. And I've got news for you about beans too, Mister. There are kids who would eat beans because they've had nothing to eat their whole life but, but, but, but leaves and bark and roots. And I guarantee you none of them has ever heard of your big show off flan, or flan, or whatever you want to call it, that you have to have every night of the week! OK?

Quotes from "Envy" btw. keke~

BTW what color is your MS3, turbogirl1?

Congrats on the new ride and the TV! Sounds like a great Christmas for you! :)

Eh x-mas was lame for me again as always. The only good thing I got was a mini Keg to help me forget it. I have to go this week and buy myself something nice haha. No one else seems to.
