does anyone have any incidents that they almost had bad luck in

ex.. the car was almost hit (well that basically explains it)

Yes.

And we're talking like, 4 or 5 incidents here. All but one of them involving other drivers that looked to be above the age of 70.

It seems everyone wants to kill my mazda. Crap, the lawn care truck that was ahead of me one night that lost a metal tie band took a nice enough nick out of my bumper as is. *sighs*

Well, My turn.
A few weeks ago I ALMOST got hit over my passanger's side front wheel by a no movement crashed car....IMPOSIBLE you say? at the same time I got paralel to the stoped car (me moving other not) a big SUV ran over the crashed car (hit the crashed car from the back) then the car AT THE SAME time took a hard left and thanks to my 3 first then to my driving skills I had a very good response and never got a scratch on my 3 nor me

I'd say thats an ALMOST here in PR, everyday has its own ALMOST LOL

Almost everyday out here in AZ, i get at least one stupid ass bird that thinks he can fly in front of my car windshield without hitting it. This happens at least 3 times a week, and everytime the birds get closer and closer to hitting my windshield!!! I am just waiting for that one bird to swoop down and not get back up!!!

LOL, me too, I feel the same way. Driving hear, if your normal you become paranoid and double tripple check all around you and man has that payed off a few times.

I've had at least half a dozen 'almosts'... they're usually caused by blue-hairs in Oldsmobiles or soccer-mom's in gigantor-sized SUV's... the LAST one was just yesterday, and was my fault. I was super-tired and did a quick shoulder check and changed lanes. The shoulder check wasn't thorough enough because there was someone there. My wife was shocked, 'cuz she'd never seen me make such a dumbass move before. The guy locked up his binders to avoid me - according to her, it was VERY close.

Boy, did I feel stupid. I humbly apologised to the guy at the next stop light.

Same thing happened to me 2 months ago... BUT since I was driving HER car (POS cavalier), I had to go buy one of my own... Best thing that ever happened to me! (nana)
