The Allien, my b-spec car

One of my customers just turned me on to this site. Lots of info.

About 2 months ago I purchased a new Mazda 2 which I call The Allien.

Some of you may recognise me from other Mazda forums especial spec miata related. I am the owner of Advanced Autosports www.advanced-autosports.com. As you can expect, The Allien is headed to the track. You can see some pix at www.mz2speed.com of the transformation. lots of on track photos on facebook

Our on track debut will be this weekend at Blackhawk Farms in Illinois.

I have some ideas for performance parts, that nobody else has mentioned. At this point I am not selling any Mazda 2 parts. But eventually I will. My reputation in the Miata racing world is of high quality, well engineered parts. And when I get mz2 parts, they will be just as nice.

I look forward to reading every post on this site as my mz2 learning curve is steep.

Wow,nice project!!The car has potential of being very competitive in track with a little tuning.
The hp of the dyno are whp or at the crank?
For track-only use,you can install a gearbox from a mazda3 1.4-1.6 which has 4.388 fgr and different 5th gear ratio.This will help you alot at corner exit.
What are the spring rates of the bilsteins?
