'87 Nissan Stanza Minivan 4wd - Possibly the most usefull, and ugly, car ever made. Sliding doors on both sides, 4wd on a button on the shift knob, and indestructable. Traded for Audi.
'87 or 89 Audi 4000 - POS by 94 when I had it. Sold when I joined the Navy.
'66 Porsche 912 - Dubbed " the money pit" by my wife. Finally defeated by the baby on the way. This should explain the next few.
'92 Hyundai Scoupe - This was a package deal with the new wife. Traded in for the Elantra.
'96 Hyundai Elantra - Familly hauler, and great car for me and the wife at the time.
'94 Eagle Talon - Finally my own car again. Sold when we moved accross the country.
'02 Mazda Protege5 - This was one of the first five in bright yellow delivered to the state of California. PITA to get, worth it in every way. 7 1/2 yrs and 168,000mi. Killed by a snowplow in Chicago last winter.
'94 Saturn SL1? - Only paid $500 for it and sold it six months later for $2000.
'05 Mazda RX8 - Mine
'06 Mazdaspeed 6 - Hers

anyway,...my name is Nik, and i turn 29 on the 15th. man i'm gettin old

i've had a bunch of lame cars growin up. but my previous two were:
1991 NISSAN NX2000= lotta fun to drive, but hard to find parts for and the t-tops leaked. SOLD
2003 MITSUBISHI LANCER= modded the hell out of this car and it still wasnt fast. but i learned a lot, raced the hell out of it, and had loads of fun. SOLD

nowadays i pimp:
1999 MAZDA MIATA= hard top, bose, leather, the whole 9. tein lowering springs and fairly sticky dunlops make it an absolute blast. i track it, and flog the sh!t out of it on a daily basis, and its paid for. any less for a miata and its just a shame.
2006 MAZDASPEED 6= certainly the fastest car i've ever owned. i track it as well. you know life is good when you cant decide which kickass car to take to the track. i also intend to increase my miata fleet soon. maybe a 3, maybe a 8. dunno yet.

I'm 29...turning old (30) in about 60 days.

1976 Ford Maverick - white with red interior (puke) I bought it from my older brother for $1...he really wanted it to be gone. It eventually caught on fire in the parking lot at work. Sold it for $500. lol
1985 Chevy Cavalier - bought it from my parents for $300 after the Maverick burned. Drove it until it died at 230k.
1971 Chevy Nova SS - great project car. Sold the engine/tranny but still have the rolling chassis. Someday I'll get it running again.
1993 Honda Civic EX - bought it from a friend all DC Sport'd out. Bought it with 60k for $7000 and sold it with 130k for $5000 (sold in less than 24 hours!)Still miss this car.
2001 Isuzu Rodeo - still have this. Engine was replaced under warranty at 100k, so it's got years of life left...and it's paid off.
2006 MS6 - still in love with this sexy b****. I'm going to hate to get rid of it, but I'll probably sell it before it gets to 50k.
