Text message download notification

Is there any way to disable the text message notification while driving. I'd rather it either showed the messageor did n't do anything at all.

That option should be found in the bluetooth pairing menu of your phone. On my iPhone, I go to Bluetooth>Mazda> and then turn off notifications.

There's also a screen for bluetooth settings in the head unit, I forget where (took me a while to find it). You have to be stopped for the specific option to not be greyed out. It's called the Don't Disturb Me option. However, if you enable the Don't Disturb Me option, the car will disturb you every single time you start it to tell you in a friendly voice that the Don't Disturb Me function is enabled. Just giving you fair warning.
