Hi Guys, the Texas Mile High Speed Shootout is back and they are Mazda friendly.
This is the event that got me into Hotrod Magazine.
Some of you may not be intrested in going 1 mile in a straight line as fast as you can but I will say it is a RUSH so don't flame it unless you have tried it. They tech in your car, You get 4 or 5 runs per day all well above 125+
It would be cool to see some Mazdas show up, some of us plan on spending the night Friday ( light party ) Drive Saturday (light party again) and drive Sunday. It will be a cool deal. Plus you can go to work and hang your plaque on the wall of just how fast you drove. The surface is very flat and smooth. Bragging rights are huge around the water cooler. I promise it's one of the coolest events I have ever done. You do not have to work in between runs / heats.

Price for the event is around $135.00 for the weekend. It's worth every dime.
