test pipe

so after i came to the realization that i cannot get a dp anytime soon, i think im gonna settle with the test pipe for now.

i read through all the posts, but i was just wondering what u guys think of all the different ones out there. i know theyre all a pipe wit flanges and that doesnt change throughout each one, but what bout quality and sound? also, im still running the stock exhaust, so which would be better to go with? ill prob be on the stock exhaust for a while, and then if anything maybe go with the magnaflow. any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated

I have the SU Test Pipe with a custom magna flow exhaust... Sounds good! When i had just the test pipe it gave it a nice little rumble. Once i put the exhaust on it does smoke after i idle for about 10 minutes. Thats my only complain.... I do recommend the SU test pipe though! Its also the easiest, cheapest mod for the power that you can get.

I had the PG test pipe which I loved but didnt notice any huge defference in sound threw stock exhaust. I then put a CS exhaust and took off the PG test pipe cause cab noise was to great and drone was a bit on the loud side. So I sold that pipe and purchased the CS test pipe that also doubles as a resonator to help only REDUCE the cab noise. Great product and looks awsome mated up to the exhaust. Protege Grage sells them..

i have the street unit test pipe and when i had stock exhaust it sounded great . did my research and for the money the magnaflow bolt on exhaust sounds great even with the test pipe. look at magnafloplanet.com you can get a great deal on the bolt on for the speed6 great quality
