Test Pipe/ Magnaflow

Does anybody have a test pipe in there P5?
How much did it cost to have made?
For those of you that have a Magnaflow muffler, how does it sound. ie. raspy, resonance, rice like?
Also which muffler did you get?
How much was the custom set up?

From what I understand a test pipe is and exhaust pipe that you tell/plea with a muffler shop to make for you. It has no emmissions equipment on it, just a straight pipe from header to muffler. I'm not quite sure where "test" comes from, but maybe people say they need a test pipe because they just want to test gains or something. I dunno.

Generally a test pipe is actually just a striaght piece of pipe with an o2 fitting on it that replaces the section for the cat. conv. It's simialar to an off-road "H" pipe on Ford mustang's. As for the magnaflow muffler after having one and then switching to an Apexi N1 save your money and get an Apex. The magnaflow isn't bad sounding, kinda queit actually. I just perfer the performance and deeper, louder sound of the Apexi over the magnaflow.
