How is front camber adjusted on any of our aftermarket coilers? i would like to know. I have a set of Ksports not installed, and the opening that the strut stud is secured and the camber plate will not allow room for much adjustment unless it was done before installation. Those folks who have the BCs know what i mean. How are folks fixing this?
If you don't have camber plates, then you can't adjust front camber. But if you do have camber plates, to access them, you have to cut that area with 3- 3 1/4" holesaw. How is front camber adjusted on any of our aftermarket coilers? i would like to know. Are these out already?
How is camber adjusted in the front without pillowball/camber plates?
YES! they are out
They are not out yet I call yesterday to order and they said it should out by july they are still waiting a shipment from Japan. they told the me the spring rates are the same as regular 3 but the shock body is shorter for a better drop.
That is what i thought. I have the camber plates on i was hoping there was a magic way to do this without weakening the structure. Sorry to interrupt the the thread but i though you folks should be aware that to get the full negative camber adjustment in front we will need to do this. Love Teins, used them and always excellent pieces! If you don't have camber plates, then you can't adjust front camber. I don't think it'll really weaken the structure. If you don't want to cut the hole bigger, you can always just keep taking the coilover out and doing it. But that just requires more work. That is what i thought. I have the camber plates on i was hoping there was a magic way to do this without weakening the structure. Same spring rate as the regular 3? I thought they need to be a little stiffer for the MS3?they told the me the spring rates are the same as regular 3 but the shock body is shorter for a better drop.
Yes i considered that too. But it would could still be a LOT of trial and error to dial in with weightingthe corners and such. Thank you. I have 510lb springs in front and i think someone could get hurt, like me. And that is a good point, the speed springs are quite a bit stiffer i think i recall.I don't think it'll really weaken the structure.
