i just got some tein sport springs for my mp3 and does anyone know if i have to cut the rubber bump stops when installing them or not i know on some hondas and stuff you do but i have never messed with any suspension work on this car. also im going to try in do this myself in my garage i dont think it shoud be to hard im pretty handy on everything else iv done to my cars in the past has anyone installed these springs on their own? Is it easy? any tips? thanks jt

All the rubber bump stops are still on my car. I did not install the teins myself however... they came with the car when I bought it.
My old Protege ES had the eibachs and I took it to a buddys shop... it took him 30 minutes to change out the front and rear springs. And from watching him... its isn't hard. Just helps to have the right tools.
