well, I just did what was described in a thread which was posted a year ago. IT DIDNT GOD DAMN HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Horse s***, I still get clunk noise. I Think I will need different washers or something. If that wont help I have to take the whole strut/spring asembly out again and check if bump stopper is in right position. DAMN IT!!!

i had a clunk when i installed my springs, but it ended up being that one of my wheels wasnt torqued on all the way (doh)

hmmm...i have a clunk in the RR too even tho im only at stock suspension. mine is sort of a popping noise when i go over uneven surfaces. hope u find out how to fix it

well all of my lug nuts are torqued to 70 lbs. The washers that I bought were a little too big on outside diameter, so Im gonna try that one more time and get smaller washers. If that wont help Im gonna take out the R/R strut assembly out again.

I have goldline springs and my rear right clunks as well ..I have added the washers but it looks like the strut is worn out. when the car is up on the hoist, you can push up on the rear right wheel very easily whereas the rear left side has a lot more pressure when pushing up on it ...guess my strut is toast

well thats a different story, hehe. My baby is almost a year old, so I definetly can say that my struts are still in great shape. I just dont know what to do now. I wanna fix this damn clunk and ONLY after I do this I wanna do the alignment.

i would recommend taking the wheel back off and re-doing the entire side. when i did my springs there was a point when i thought the spring was seated properly, but the top of the strut was crooked....didnt realize it until i went to bolt it back together, then turning the top unseated the spring.....gotta be careful with this s***.......good luck

yea im probably gonna take the rear right side apart with my friend again. Probably tomorrow. Pisses me off.

yeah I just noticed yours is a 2003 after I posted hehe how come everyone has a problem with the back right??!! either that's the corner everyone starts with when doing springs or that strut has some weird design flaw.

you know what?! I DID start from that strut. ARHHHGGGGG

when i started to do my install (and gave up due to retarded endlinks) I started on the back right . haha Must be psychological.

Hope you get it figured out because I know how annoying it is.

i started on the rear left. probably because my door from my house to the garage goes right there, so i walk right into it, so therefore started there.

WOOHOO!! I fixed the clunk!!!!!!!! Freaking crazy shiznit! I went outside yesterday just to have a smoke and just looked behind the rear left wheel (driver side) and look what I found, damn endlink lost a nut and disconnected from the strut, therefore sway bar was knocking on the freaking axle NO WONDER IT WAS CLUNKING ON EVERY SINGLE BUMP. Good thing I had a spare nut from the front strut bar and tightened the endlink. FINALLY no clunks. NOW ITS QUIET, and then again, its NOT THAT QUIET (drive)
