Tein S.Tech is GREAT!!!!

I got Tein springs installed today (it took around 2.5 hours)
Man I really love them.
My car look tighter now with nice drop. (1.8F, 1.5R)
It doesn't touch speed bumpers and corners way better
As long as I'm modifying my car for look, I think Tein springs are the best.
Also it hasn't lost stock ride quality.
My girl friend doesn't notice the difference

Should I get alignment after lowering with Tein S-tech?
A guy who installed the springs told me to get alignment as soon as possible because the steering wheel may tilt a little bit.

i waited about a week for the springs to completely settle in before i got an alignment. oh yeah, that and the fact that i was out of money for a week prevented me from getting alignment sooner. anyway, congrats on the springs. the pro5 looks so much meaner lowered. pics of your ride would be greatly appreciated.

Is it bad for my car if I get an alignment later like after half of a year?? I'm broke now. I used up all my money and waiting for my next pay day lol

i guess there's no harm in doing it later. you run the risk of premature and uneven wear on your tires (that'll cost you in excess of $400). you also have the vibration problems that might occur at higher speeds, and lastly, your car won't handle as neutrally as you'd want since camber, caster, and toe might be out of whack. an alignment will cost, or should cost, no more than $60 for all four wheels. shop around and go for the best price... whatever you do, don't go to the mazda dealer for $90. it's a rip.

i was wondering if there were any shocks for the protege5, sure there are springs but i cant find any shocks, thanks for the help!

Exactly.... they provide a smooter ride for sure. Almost similar to stock, but a little tighter. I love them. Absolutely.

Tein is not popular in Canada I think
No one knows that name. Mazda dealer and even parts stores (Lordco in BC) don't know what tein is. Stupid!
