TEIN or EIBACH!?!

Sorry i don't have pics yet but hopefully this week i'll post some. I have the stock rims with some low profile tires 205/40/16 and i can barely put 2 finger between the tire and the fender. Will post pics ASAP.

WOW!!! that musta' look nice!!! 2 finger in between the fender and tires? does that measure all four wheels? or is it lower more at the rear?

Yeah, Peter has one of the nicest P5s around. It's inspiring to see one that hooked-up.

Those are the 17s on my car now.
Also, they're just the Tein springs w/ MP3 struts. The front lip makes it appear even lower than it is.

the front is a little bit lower than the back. Reason, i think, is because all the weight is up front and when u put passengers in the back it will even up.

All I've done to the car is in the siggy. I have the stubby on order, should have it shortly.

On Teins, the drop is lower in the front than the back. 1.8" vs. 1.6 or so (not sure). You can look it up on Tein's website. My car looks kinda higher in the front in that pic because of my driveway. It's actually about the same if not a little lower in the back.

that's a nice ass looking clean p5 u got there! and ur rite it is perfect low w/ them teins springs. so u'all said that tein is kinda stiff when there people riding in it rite? how about on a daily basis? just the driver? but i dont care im getting tein!!! where? and how much for that tein springs delivered to my door?

Love the Teins. The ride is the best with me and a passenger. I got them from Carboy in Houston, but you can find them on ebay for less. I've seen them for less than $150.

Tein is a good product. With regards to quality. Eibach is the best spring maker in the world. Hands down. I have contract driver's in Japan who will take HKS springs off coilovers and place the ERS springs on them.

Just an FYI. Nobody on this board truly cares if it's good or not, just whether it's affordable. You always get what you pay for.

Eibach, made in Germany. Tein springs, most likely made in Taiwan for that price. Lots of Tein suspension is outsourced now.

I know you know your stuff. So, how do you know this is the case? I'm not saying you're wrong. I'd just like some more info. Tein coilovers are some of the best out there along with JIC.

I'd rather have a japanese spring to lower my japanese car. That's just my personal preference. Not to mention, the tein mascot is f'ing awesome

I'm sure that Tein has got it right. Stuff from Germany and Japan is about equal, although in my personal experience, I would give the nod to Japan. I've never owned a German car, but my dad has an A6 quattro and it's got problems that he never had with his Acura Legend. I can't really compare any of my euro cars to the Germans though. Great Britain and Italy are not known for building quality items...

I think it's way more complicated to make a whole car than just some springs.
