Cell? i have that one. Don't have your land number.

I have, and am planning to use, the same manifold... brand new. It's never been installed. I've read about you, and others having this problem with them cracking. Should I take preemptive action and have some work on it before it cracks, or wait till later down the road if/when it does crack.... and I have a feeling it will :(

well, you can take the chance..i ran mine for a year..it cracked and i drove with it like that for another 6 months or do...if it were me, i'd have the welds redone now! but it will cost you, unless you know someone..mine was 3 hours to hacksaw through the welds and redoing them all 210 and another 85 to have it coated..it sucks but what are you going to do...you could buy a new one for about that mney, but you'd need a new down pipe as well...more $$$

There is a little indent for the center plug on the tamper resistant torx heads. It would prevent a regular Torx bit from going in.

As for the cleaning, did not resolve my issues.

I'm still convinced that it is related to the exhaust work and O2 sensor relocation. Still only a cold start issue.

my car idles like a kitten purring! the IAC was all carbon'd up!

Yea it was fun. I can't believe you took it out yourself. It was fun trying to get it back in. That EGR valve was a pisser, cut my finger on the gasket, trying not to bleed over Mark's clean engine bay. I will have to check my IAC valve, not that my idle is off but it was easy to get at.

Hey Mark, I think I left my watch in your tool box. Can you check? I will call you later today.
