Team Dynamics Pro-Race-1

I just found out from a local shop that they can actually get these wheels. And they said they usually come in as blanks and are drilled and machined to the right pattern and offset (maybe center bore too but I forgot to ask about that). That may not be 100% correct but I'm hopeful.

The price I was given was not cheap, but they are light... and will be perfect fit. Just need to find a good race tire to match up with them. If I get 225 tire then offset will probably be machined to +45 mm for my MP3 to keep the spacing of the tire correct.

Available in white and black.

What width are you getting? Why not get the same offset as your MP3 wheels (+55mm)? What price were you quoted?

I've been looking into these as well for my forthcoming Mazdaspeed Protege. I plan on autocrossing with my local SCCA region in stock class. That means I can put any wheels on of the same size with an offset within 1/4 inch. One of the reasons I know about the Pro Race 1 is that they come in a +50mm or +55mm offset (I forget which, but either works to stay within 1/4 inch.) If you're getting a +45mm offset (which may or may not work, but let's assume it does) you have a ton of other choices.

PM or email Rishie (ARD MP5). He's the one who told me about these initially.

They only come in 7" width but if I put a 225 tire on then +45 should even out the spacing vs. my stock 205's ... I don't know if 225 would fit on the +55 offset without hitting the suspension bits?
I was considering 225/50/15.

Obviously a 215 tire will fit with +55 offset because that's what is on the Mazdaspeed.

+50 would probably be safe anyway .. although in Ontario we don't have the same strict rules about wheel size as SCCA so there's no problem for me having only +45.

First price I got over the phone was $1500 for 15", $1900 for 17" Canadian dollars.
