Tbe Or A Set Of Rims

Pay off the debt. With the money you save on interest, buy an extra mod in a month or two. Because really, who wants to pay some punk more than you have to?

well the topic says rims or tbe... i'd always go for performance over looks first, and the stock ms3 rims looks good enough already, so i wouldnt really worry about getting rims as the first step, not to mention a tbe makes the whole car sounds sexier

If you get wheels, it counts as performance. Most aftermarket wheels out there are lighter than the stock wheels, so you'll feel the benefit of stronger acceleration(or wheels spin in our case).

D_Roc, get a cai and use the rest of the money to pay off you cc debt. You know the cai makes the most difference out of other mods, and it won't burn a hole in your pocket. That way you'll get some go fast part and be responsible with your credit.

IF your able to get yourself out of debt, then go for it....the mods will always be there.

And im with ForceFed on the wheel choice. I wouldnt go so far as to say black wheels are played out all together, but there starting to be in the MS3 crowd. Maybe im wrong cause i dont keep up with the MS3 frenzy, but everytime i click a link with an owner getting new wheels....there black! and theres a 50/50 chance that there black OZ Ultraleggera's.

Keep us updated with pics with whatever u do :)

You are so correct on the OZ Ultraleggera's! Sad thing is they are the wheels I will more than likely get because of the price and quality! I had a VW Golf GTI before this car and the wheel selections out were 10 fold! Its hard to find a nice quality wheel for the MSP3.

for real...the rays wheels from mazda are expensive, but despite their high pricetag, at LEAST they fit the car perfectly!

yeah I was actually leaning this way myself... and since its winter I wouldnt be able to use any of the stuff till like april or may when it starts getting nice outside. So I may just do that and get an intake. I dont know... I still havent decided but leaning more and more towards this.

yeah I know cause those were the wheels I was planning on getting were rays (time attack). I think they will look bad ass on my silver bullet.

Agreed....take a few words from someone who used to be in your shoes cuz of my last car...pay ur s*** off now and play with ur money later. Trust me.

From experience of doing the other way....pay the debt off first! Further, take the additional money (if there is any) and store it away as "Rainy Day" money, or emergency money. This was my downfall!

TO each his own on the Black...Around here EVERYONE has had Black Rims FOREVER...I mean years..they are just old IMHO around here at least...And I think they have very little tast unless combined with a machined ,polished or Chrome lip....Without the lip..The tires and wheels run together as one and look poor IMO.

Like I said..to each his owm...But if you have to get Black wheels..Get somthing with a lip to break up all of the black.

Please no lip. PLEASEEEE. Chrome/polished lips or anything shiny like that dont belong on mazdas.

Why is that...I do beleive that most of Mazdas emblems are nice and shiny chrome...Guess you better write Mazda and tell them that doesn't belong there.

And for the Record..A machined finish would look killer..and it's not shiny like chrome...
I think a Machined wheel or lip just looks awesome....and not much beats the look of them at night.

Machined Lip FTW.

to me personally... I think chrome lips have been played out for a while now. Every rim you see nowadays has a chrome lip. It looked good back in the day but just doesnt anymore. And think it would look awful on a silver car. What I was thinking about was something like driver311's rims or tenzo dc-6 or konig heliums or rota p1 but a majority of those dont fit our cars. Even time attacks would work, cause thats what I was gonna get. I was just trying to find a cheaper solution.. something that looked like the time attacks but a lil cheaper.

F*ck it, u guys can have my opinion since its a pissing contest now.

Advans or nothing.

Check the different wheels on this silver ms3, and tell me you still think black wheels with a chrome lip looks good.

This has probably been pointed out already, but here goes.
Pay off the debt. Once you do that, your monthly outlay will be less and you'll be able to save the money to buy your toys with cash, which is what you should do anyway. Best advice I ever got. "If it isn't a necessity, don't finance it. If you want it badly enough you'll find a way to save the money." Great advice, I just wish I was smart enough to always follow it!
