eh thats why i keep all my stock parts on hand for when i have to go get smogged. and because i have the highflow cat i should still be able to pass.

smart thinking, most people throw that s*** away lol but its just a b**** because you gotta pay for the test, thats wha i did with my old honda, i switched all my stock s*** back on, and you have the CA legal OBD cat?

However diesels need all kinds of other particulate filters to trap the sulfer and soot and whatnot. In the end diesels have more emissions equipment in the exhaust just not cats.

im pretty damn sure you dont, I mean at least the turbo guys may get a good difference but I think NA is just plain sad, the gains im sure are down there in the 1hp range..

The article says nothing of the gains of High-Flow vs OEM Cats tho....They are stating that NO-CAT vs. High-Flow cat is 1whp difference...They are not stating that High-Flow vs. OEM cat is 1whp difference...

Yes it is a small gain, but with N/A all the small gains add up to a decent amount of gain...

And yes...This is old news...

**edit** Re-read the article and I guess it does say the metallic core cat, which is what I have...netted 3whp over the stocker...so I'm wrong..but still right...
