Synthetic Automatic Tranny Fluid...

I plan to add synthetic ATF to my car soon because I plan to turbo it soon as well.

How good is the Valvoline Durablend ATF compared to fully synthetic (Mobil1 ATF)?

Reason why I ask, I can have a valvoline instant oil change perform a full flush and replace with the durablend ATF. OR I can doi it myself (never performed a flush before so not sure how hard it is to get everything out) and replace with Mobile1 ATF.

Thoughts, Specs, Experiences?

Thanks,
Dale.

Their isn't a distributor in my state.
Plus I was wondering the difference btwn the Durablend brand and a fully synthetic brand. i.e. how much better is the fully synthetic brand.

bump...

anyone have any opinions on the Valvoline Duralube (partially synthetic ATF) compared to the mobil one synthetic ATF?

just put in Mobil1 ATF.... much smoother shifts than before. emptied about 4 litres out, so i put back in 4 litres (4 bottles) of ATF. really easy to do, similar to changing the oil. wish i could've done a full tranny flush though cuz there's probably 3 litres in the torque convertor and whatever (AT has capacity for about 7 litres of ATF). so i'm guessing by the time i do another ATF change, it'll be fully synthetic.
