Synapse FMIC Kit

Kit looks great, but what about using the stock or stock-style BPV? I don't want to eliminate that.

ya the bpv was 100 bucks with the kit but 250 without i was pissed i didnt realize it lol

I'm going to continue to monitor the kit. $850 for a kit with a recirc valve that's not supposed to "leak" according to them, is a pretty decent price still.

im purchasing mine first of the year and installing asap nd then waiting months for the snow to melt :( but i love their kit, theyre pipes come black and the piping looks sweet where its routed

When I emailed them their response was this,

"Our kits are designed to be used with the Synchronic DV and BOV ONLY. We cannot do any customization on the kit as it is ordered in bulk from our factory. The piping is aluminum, so it should be possible to weld on whatever flange you'd like if you do not want to use the Synchronic BOV or DV.

Just some food for thought however, We have noticed a horsepower gain after replacing the factory Speed3 BPV with a Synchronic BOV. This means the factory BPV leaks."

While I do agree some of our BPV's have been known to leak, as far as I'm aware, mine does not. I can't be positive. But I assume with a relative stock car I have stock boost levels of are 15-16 psi. Lower when it's cold. I probably will wind up with this kit in the spring. I haven't read anything negative, it looks like a quality piece. And it's competitively priced. If they have another sale going on anytime soon, I may snatch it up then.
