First Welcome to the boards!

Second, I don't know which car you have, if you have a Protege Sedan you need an H4 bulb, if it's a Protege5 you need H7.

I set-up a group buy/discount with Powerbulbs.com for the european Osram Silverstars. All the instructions are on this page:

Most people like the european silverstar bulbs because they are actually brighter then the north american silverstar bulbs since there isn't a blue tint on the bulb. And with free shipping it comes in at a great price for a great bubl.

If you search on it, you can find several thread with people talking about them. do a search for osram silverstar.

Sorry, I forgot some details !!

I have a Proteg 5 2003, midnight blue. I bought it in May 20th.
It's my first post but I'm reading all of you since I found this forum ! :) I'm living in Quebec, Canada.

For the moment, all mods I have is the DaveB rings and a carbon bezel (in the cluster...), a K&N filter and a stuby antenna (3.5").

I'm searching the MP3/MSP pocket to put an after market head unit, but  :'( ... It's between 125$CA and 155$CA, depend of the dealer !!

For the Silverstar, do you know if can buy all the bulbs for the high beam, low beam and the fogs ??

Thanks !

get the Osram silverstars.... no blue filter on the bulb and they are usually a little cheaper on the internet
