Installed the SWI-Jack into my 3 with an Alpine 9887 HU. Install went smooth and programming was pretty simple. All steering controls now work, except...
The up/down arrows only work to change preset stations. When in CD mode, the up/down arrows don't control anything. I know the HU gets a signal as it beeps but nothing happens. Any ideas? Thought it might have to do with the way the SWI looks at the impedence of the button push but that's just a guess.
Looks like I could program the buttons for only 1 function. Is this true or am I missing something.
