Sweet Deal on a Spoiler

Just make sure you use your own M3 double sided tape. I replaced all of the ones they provided, make sure you heat it up a little to make sure it REALLY sticks on. I been driving with it for the last week or so, I drive in massive rains and winds and it's holding just fine.

Looks great. I am definitely going to invest in one of these as well. Sucks it doesn't come in the White but I already got the black rims & the tint is going on this coming spring so maybe the Black won't look too bad, hmmmm. If I buy it and it doesn't look good I guess I could just sell, no biggie!

You could send a message to the seller, maybe they would paint it white? I don't think they listed all the colors.

Mine has sat overnight and the seal actually seems pretty tight. I'm too scared to test it though lol.

I just used the tape they supplied, do you think I should rip it off and redo it? Or should I try driving around lol.

im gonna get a black one for my green M2, if it dosent look all that great how hard would it be to pull the sucker off and get a green one instead??

UPDATE: I have had clamps on it for the last hour. I've noticed that the top tape seal is perfectly flush with car, but on one side it isn't perfect so I've got that clamped.

I haven't tried to take it off, but I have pulled up on it and I've drove it on the highway to see if it'd fly off and it seems to be on there pretty tight. I'd say tape would suffice. I wish I would have known that your supposed to clean the area with alcohol before applying adhesive. I guess i"ll just monitor it and if worst comes to worst I'll use heat to get it off and then put on some of my own tape.

Well.. I noticed the spoiler was rattling then I grabbed it and it came right off!

I'm going to need to apply some 3m adhesive myself and then apply it properly. Anyone got any tips/suggestions for me?

Well im going to be getting an upgraded spoiler since I have the touring and its painted black.. does anybody think Id be able to sell the other one since i mean its already painted and all

Here they put it on with something called Sickaflex or something... Some black stuff....

Well I'm going to put the spoiler on the right way today, I plan on using 3m molding tape, I hear the molding tape is the best! I'm going to put alot of tape on and hope for a good seal lol.

I've had it for about a month now driving in pure rain and wind. It's been fine so far with just some 3m molding tape.

I used 3M molding type along with some loctite tape which I had lieing around just in some random extra spaces. The seal is looking really good, and feels much stronger. Not going to test strength until tomorrow Am though.

Well I tested the strength, and it's on there tight. Hopefully this time it lasts for quite some time haha!
