Sway Bar? Problems

So I just got my P5 a few weeks ago, it needed new brakes. Last weekend I replaced all four rotors and pads. When changing the front drivers side brakes, I noticed some sort of linkage that is bolted on to the spring/strut assembly and is connected to what looks like a sway bar. The joint that connects to it (looks like a small ball joint and has four blue dots on it) was disconnected from the bar. I have been noticing that the car pulls slightly to the left. I was wondering what this is (This is the newest car I have owned by 10 yrs) and if it is a common problem and what I can do to fix it. I tried just shoving it back in to the bar but it came back out when I next drove it. Thanks.

Ok, think I finally found what they are called, while browsing the workshop manual they are called a "Stabilizer control link". Are these a pain to replace or should I take it to a mechanic?

yeah its commonly called an endlink here.

they are pretty easy to replace.

jack the front of the car up, remove the wheel, bolt on the new one.

..........or find a nut & put it back together & go more. While you're at it, check the other 3 & make sure both ends are tight on those. Need a 12mm wrench & an allen wrench in the middle of the bolt. IF THEY AREN'T RUSTED TO HELL...........

Oh nice, if that is all I have to do, that would be wonderful! They look like they are not too rusty.

Just get another nut the same as the others. Jack the car up until you can get it back in place & tighten the nut. Check both ends of all 4. If that one came loose then others may be. Just jack each side up to take stress off & tighten as necessary.
